Jacqueline Murphy

Jacqueline Murphy is the editorial director of Cottage Literary. She identifies important ideas, curates landmark content, and collaborates to create books, articles and thought leadership of every type. She works together with experts, executives and professional organizations to conceive, write and place their most important nonfiction work with top publishers and publications.

She has edited and written articles published in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Fortune, NACD Directorship, WSJ Online, Fast Company, Leadership Excellence, CNN.com and CNBC.com.

As Editorial Director of Harvard Business Review Press, she collaborated with heads of industry and leading experts including Chuck Knight, Charlene Li, Howard Gardner, Cathleen Benko and Tom Davenport. She also acquired and edited bestsellers such as The Cluetrain Manifesto by Christopher Locke, Groundswell by Charlene Li and Josh Bernoff and Iconoclast by Gregory Berns.

 

She has held senior editorial positions at Perseus, Bloomberg and John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  Jacque is also a literary agent affiliated with Inkwell Management.
